Roborock S7+ Review

Roborock S7+ Review

One of the most costly floor-cleaning robots we’ve evaluated is the Roborock S7+. It’s one of just two versions that can simultaneously clean and vacuum your floors. When it finds the carpet, it automatically raises the mop cloth out of the way, allowing it to do both chores more quickly. It also has a self-emptying dustbin, a long battery life, excellent obstacle avoidance, and powerful vacuum suction.

Let’s see Roborock S7+ Review

Design:

The Roborock S7+ comes in two colors: black and white, and both look good. You’ll remove a few different accessories and components from the vacuum from time to time. It’s also quite enormous, so you’ll need to find a suitable location in your home for it. I didn’t have to empty the dock once during the evaluation time.

Smart Features Aplenty:

Multi-level maps, scheduling, and virtual walls are all supported by the S7. The Roborock app connects the S7+ to your phone, giving you access to a range of smart functions. The software has choices for full, room, and zone cleaning. To isolate particular locations, you can also create virtual walls and no-go zones. The Roborock S7+ robot may be programmed to pass through a room three times.

The software also supports multi-level maps, which allows the robot to recognize up to four stories automatically. The robot shows its exact path on the map while working and after completing a cleaning task, so you can see where it is and what it has already cleaned. The Roomba functioned perfectly with Alexa and Google Assistant through their respective applications during testing.

Setup and App:

The Roborock S7+ is easy to set up. The app allows you to schedule cleanings, control the vacuum remotely, view your cleaning history, and more. You can also set where the vacuum should clean and mop via the app, and the device features automatic carpet detection in case you forget.

Intelligently Adapts:

Two of the best vacuums for hard floors and carpeting are the iRobot Roomba j7+ and the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AVI. The top three are the Shark IQ Robot Self-Empty XL and Bissell SpinWave Wet and Dry Robotic Vacuum. The Roborock S7 robot vacuum does not come with a controller, but you can use the app or Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri Shortcuts to control it with your voice. On the top, there are three buttons and a status indicator light that changes color as it charges or starts up. The trash, a system reset button, and Wi-Fi indicator light are all hidden behind a cover on top of the robot.

It comes with one 3-liter disposable dust bag already attached and one more in the package. When the robot discovers the carpet, it boosts the suction power of its vacuum. Depending on how often you use the robot, each bag can store up to eight pounds of dust.

Vacuuming and Mopping Performance:

The Roborock S7+ robot vacuums have a 58 percent battery life and can vacuum a 1,000-square-foot main floor in an hour. It never got stuck and navigated around obstacles that would have stopped lesser robots dead in their tracks in five entire test runs. It took 115 minutes to drain the battery with the power setting set to Balanced. Water, not a cleaning solution, can be used to clean the Roborock S7 robot. Grime filled its mopping cloth after two passes with the scrub level set to moderate. The automatic bin-emptying option worked flawlessly as well. Try the Samsung Jetboat Mop if you want a robot that can disinfect your floors.

Battery:

Battery consumption isn’t a problem for robotics because they constantly return to their charging station for a recharge when the battery runs low. This variant includes a big 5200mAh Li-ion battery that can power the motor for up to three hours. And that’s a fantastic statistic in its favor.

Pros:

  • Vacuum cleaners and mops
  • A base that automatically depletes
  • Suction power is strong.
  • Seldom gets stuck.
  • Scrubbing levels on the mop
  • Multi-level maps, scheduling, virtual boundaries, and zone cleaning are all supported.
  • HEPA air filtration with many stages

Cons:

  • Pricey
  • Only use water to mop.
  • When cleaning carpets, it’s quite loud.

Conclusion:

The Roborock S7+ floor cleaning robot vacuums and scrubs better than the competition, thanks to a revolutionary mop-lifting mechanism that keeps your carpet from getting wet.
