This high-end smartphone features a 120Hz refresh rate display, the quickest smartphone performance, and long battery life. The ultra-wide camera also operates in a new macro mode. For 2021, Apple’s most prominent, quickest, and ‘greatest’ iPhone is the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

With Dolby Vision, video can now be captured at up to 4K/60fps, with Cinematic mode allowing for in-video depth-of-field alterations. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz (as opposed to the previous models’ maximum of 60Hz) and can adjust its refresh rate as needed.

It translates to a super-responsive, super-smooth, and super-sharp user experience that makes the iPhone 12 Pro Max look a touch crazy due to its crispness. Apple only mentions an increase in peak brightness (from 800 to 1000 nits) about using the phone outside; it does not mention HDR video peak brightness.

iPhone 13 Pro Max is a water-resistant phone. Your phone will be fine if you drop it in a puddle, a shallow pool, or rain.

 Apple has promised a patch for third-party apps that don’t run at 120Hz. The iPhone 12 Pro Max’s maximum brightness is only 654 nits. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are the first iPhones with 120Hz refresh rates. iPhone 13 pro max display is 6.1″ while iPhone 13 mini display is 5.4.”

It provides better navigation in apps and higher frame rates in games by allowing the screen to refresh more frequently. Apple chose an LTPO display that can shift dynamically between 10 and 120Hz as needed. It’s not nearly as powerful as some Android phones, with the premium Oppo Find X3 Pro capable of dropping a fantastic 1Hz for gaming.

Video and Cinematic mode:

With the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s cinematic video mode, you’ll feel like a tiny Spielberg. Cinematic mode’s resolution is limited to 1080p on all iPhone models. The phone supports ProRes video if you want even more creative flexibility.

It recorded a frame rate of 68.4 frames per second, compared to 54 frames per second on the iPhone 12 Pro Max and 34 frames per second on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

In terms of weight, dynamics, and detail, the iPhone 13 Pro Max outperforms its predecessor. Tiny speakers have certain limitations, and we recommend not listening to your phone out loud.

You’ll need a pair of Air Pods, Pro or Max, to receive the complete Dolby Atmos / Spatial Audio experience across some apps and with full head-tracking. If you’re someone who watches movies on the go, that’s a worthwhile investment.

Battery life and Charging:

The iPhone 13 Pro Max features a bigger battery as well as other improvements. The battery test lasted 12 hours and 16 minutes and included using 5G to browse the internet while the screen brightness was 150 nits. If you use a higher-power 30W charger, the phone may charge to 100% in 90 minutes.
