Following in the footsteps of the older Epson P800 and earlier A3+/13-inch and A2/17-inch printers are the Epson SureColor P900. There is no need to share because the P900 has a dedicated section for each of its 10 inks. Additionally, it has a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, which is quite helpful for changing settings and monitoring the status of printing. The new Epson SureColor SC-P900 A3+/13-inch printer only accepts cartridges with a 50ml capacity instead of an 80ml capacity.

Even worse, the printer’s “setup” cartridges don’t last very long at all. In our trials, one of the cartridges was quite low and one went out after only eight A2 prints. The cost of the ink is affordable. Media management is excellent. If you’re using the vertical front tray to print on board, you need to leave enough room at the back so that it doesn’t run into anything behind you.

Connection:

The Epson P700 printer offers built-in Wi-Fi, 2.4GHz and 5GHz connection, and Google Cloud Print support; however, it does not support SD cards or USB flash drives. A professional-level color management iOS software from Epson is available, and it includes features like mono fine-tuning mode and automated color profile choice. There is an Epson Print Layout plug-in that takes the place of Photoshop’s Print dialogue box if you would rather print right from Photoshop.

Performance:

The main difference you’ll see during the initial setup, which takes approximately 30 minutes, is print speed. There are five main levels available for the majority of shiny and lustrous papers, but in tests, there was no noticeably better quality than the medium settings. The P900 is a capable pigment-based printer that can print high-quality A3+ photos on glossy or matte media in 6 minutes 32 seconds or 3 minutes 27 seconds, respectively. The printer driver is user-friendly and has choices for adding a “Black Enhance Overcoat,” which can give prints’ very dark parts and deep blacks more depth.

Speed Quality:

A professional picture and graphic design tool featuring a 10-channel printhead, the Epson P900 cost less. Its sole aim is to create enormously beautiful works of art, which it achieves very sluggishly. A letter-size (8.5 by 11-inch) print takes 1 minute and 29 seconds, while a super tabloid image takes 2 minutes and 23 seconds. You aren’t counting on this printer to produce a tonne of business writing.
